Details
Uni-Body Slice Valves are an excellent option for Full Port flow and complete, secure shut-off. The built-in Snap-Lock ensures ZERO FLOW RESTRICTION while the valve is in use. The Cam-Lock function provides a complete positive seal when shut-off is required. A specially formulated dry lubricant is added to our Seals allowing them to be over-molded directly to the valve gate and eliminating the need to repair or replace gate seals.
Available in an array of IPS sizes and colors, the Uni-Body Slice Valve is relied upon across industries for a variety of uses.

Q: When should I install a Uni-Body Slice Valve as opposed to a Compact Ball Valve?
A: Uni-Body Slice Valves should be installed when water or other fluids need to be shut-off completely or allowed to flow without restriction. This product offers FULL PORT, unrestricted flow while many other inline products do not. Additionally, this valve is very short in length relative to other valve options of the same size and therefore offers a smaller installation footprint for vaults or other tight enclosures.
Ball Valves and Gate Valves have incremental settings, they are not necessarily fully open or fully shut, and there are gradations in-between that are often used to set flow. Butterfly Valves and other similar products do not offer the same Full Port flow offered by Uni-Body Slice Valves due to the inner wall used to shut-off the valve being located in the middle of the flow way.
This product is most commonly used within the Pool and Spa industry due to the need for complete shut-off and certain spatial restrictions.
