30-Day Return Window

Most unopened items in their original condition can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Exceptions include:

  • Special order items
  • Nutrients and fertilizers
  • All growing media and substrates
  • Harvesting equipment
  • Lighting components
  • Climate control systems
  • Custom-built systems

Please keep all packaging materials until you're certain you want to keep your purchase. This makes returns easier if needed.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Opened nutrients or growing supplements
  • Used harvesting tools
  • Installed climate systems
  • Custom fabricated items
  • Any product with removed packaging
  • Discontinued products

Return Authorization Required

You must contact us for return approval before sending anything back. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender at your expense.

Return Condition Requirements

For approved returns:

  • Items must be in new, resalable condition
  • Original packaging must be undamaged
  • All accessories and documentation included
  • Must be shipped in protective outer box
  • No signs of use or installation

Return Process

  • Contact us at 310-967-2022 or via our website for authorization
  • Pack item securely in plain outer box
  • Remove or cover old shipping labels
  • Ship to designated return center
  • Allow approximately 30 business days for processing

Refund Details

  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Restocking fees may apply (typically 20%)
  • Processing times vary and often take up to 30 business days

Damaged or Defective Items

Contact us immediately if you receive damaged goods or discover defects within 3 days. For freight shipments, note damage on delivery receipt before signing or you may void your ability to make a claim with the carrier.

Warranty Claims

Most manufacturers handle warranty claims directly. We can provide manufacturer contact information when needed. Arable Acres does not provide product warranties.

Order Cancellations

Orders can typically be canceled before shipment. Custom items may incur fees if cancellation occurs after production begins.
