Shipping Policy

At Arable Acres, shipping fees are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your package, as well as the shipping method selected. Our shopping cart system automatically calculates shipping costs using real-time rates from UPS, except for freight shipments. We do not add handling fees or inflate shipping rates.

In some cases, additional shipping charges may apply due to factors such as remote delivery locations or multiple pallet shipments. If additional fees are required, we will notify you before proceeding. You will have the option to modify or cancel your order for a full refund if these charges are not acceptable.

Shipping Methods and Transit Times

Arable Acres is committed to fast and efficient order fulfillment. In some cases, orders may be fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or distributor to further expedite delivery.

If your order includes multiple items, we will make every effort to ship them together. However, depending on availability, your order may ship from multiple locations. If this occurs, you will not incur additional shipping charges. Tracking information for each shipment will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

Please note that shipping times are calculated from the moment the package leaves our facility, not from the time the order is placed. Processing times include payment verification, order picking, packing, and labeling. The shipping times listed below apply to items marked as "In Stock," which typically ship within 24 hours.

For expedited orders (Two-Day Air or Next Day Air) placed after 11 AM PST, please confirm with an Arable Acres representative by calling 310-967-2022 to ensure same-day shipping. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii may require additional transit time.

Shipping Options

We partner with UPS & FedEx and other carriers to provide insured and trackable shipments. Smaller items may be shipped via USPS. Standard ground deliveries typically take 2-3 business days but can take up to 6 business days depending on the destination. Processing times of up to 24 hours are not included in delivery estimates.

  • Standard Ground Shipping (UPS/USPS): 1-6 business days (average of 2 days). Free shipping applies to eligible items shipped via standard ground, excluding palletized shipments.
  • Second Day Air: Delivery within 2 business days.
  • Next Day Air: Delivery within 1 business day, provided the carrier receives the package before their daily cutoff.

UPS will make three delivery attempts. If the recipient is unavailable, the shipment will be returned to us after the third attempt.

Curbside Delivery (Freight/LTL Shipping)

Large, heavy, or oversized items are shipped via freight carriers. These items are palletized and delivered to the curb using a lift-gate truck. Delivery requires a scheduled appointment, and all items must be inspected for damage before signing for receipt.

Freight shipments typically take 3-7 business days. Some remote areas may not receive daily service.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. If your order is fulfilled from multiple locations, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment.

Order Processing

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. Orders placed before 11 AM PST Monday through Friday are typically processed the same day. In-stock items usually ship within 24-48 hours.

If you haven’t received tracking information within two business days, please check your account or contact us at 310-967-2022 or info@arableacres.com. Ensure your email address is correct and check your spam folder for notifications.

Refused Shipments

If you refuse a shipment for reasons other than damage or a shipping error on our part, you will be responsible for round-trip freight charges and a minimum 20% restocking fee.

Shipping to Alternate Addresses

Orders with different billing and shipping addresses may require additional verification, which can delay processing. Providing inaccurate information may result in further delays.

Address Changes

If you need to change the shipping address after the package has shipped, an Address Intercept Fee may apply. Not all carriers allow address changes, and delays may occur.

Damaged Shipments

Inspect all shipments for damage before signing. Note any issues on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately. Signing without noting damage may void your ability to file a claim.

Back-Orders

If an item is out of stock, we will ship available items and back-order the rest at no additional shipping cost. You will be charged for back-ordered items at the time of purchase. To cancel a backorder, contact us at 310-967-2022 or info@arableacres.com.

Signature Requirements

For high-value shipments, a signature may be required upon delivery. This is a security measure to ensure safe delivery and cannot be waived.

Missing Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, please check around your property, and contact us at 310-967-2022. We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery.

Shipping Disclaimers

Unforeseen events such as severe weather or carrier delays may impact shipping times. We ship to the contiguous U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii but do not currently offer international shipping. Most carriers do not deliver to PO Boxes; if you provide a PO Box, we may need an alternate address.
