This irrigation punch tool is designed to make holes 2.5mm in diameter in a soft polyethylene pipe or tubing in order to insert drippers, emitters, sprinklers, junctions, stop valves or other units.
Instructions for Use
- Place tubing onto a stable surface
- Place the punch cutting edge along the tubing and push
- You may need to lightly twist the punch to cut through the tube
- Once you create the hole, press the spring-loaded ejector lever to clear any debris from the punch tip opening
- Change the tip if burrs appear or if the cutting edge gets dull
- BE SURE NOT TO PUSH SO HARD THAT THE OPPOSITE WALL OF THE TUBING IS PUNCTURED
