Grodan Gro-Smart Tray Insert (5/Cs)

The Grodan Gro-Smart Tray Insert is a durable and rigid cell tray containing 6 cells x 13 cells for a total of 78 plants per tray.  Although expensive, this plug tray will last for years to come and is great for frequent transport and handling due to its sturdy design and rigidity.

Although all plug trays accomplish the same end goal of seperating propagated plants, incubating their root systems, and providing support for vertical growth, this tray is substantially more firm and constructed of thicker plastic.

Cell trays offer optimal drainage during propagation by raising the root zone and allowing drainage of excess water.  Plugs taht are resting on the tray directly can sit in water collecting at the bottom and delay rooting.

Gro-Smart Trays fit into standard 10-Inch x 20-Inch and 10-Inch x 21-Inch trays.

Each tray accommodates 78 plants when filled to capacity or 39 plugs when every other cell is filled.
