3M Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6000 Series

The 3M™ 6000 Series Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator is a versatile respiratory protection device designed for comfort and performance during extended use. Constructed with a soft silicone facepiece and a lightweight, well-balanced design, it features a polycarbonate lens that is scratch and chemical resistant, providing a wide field of vision.

The respirator is available in three sizes—small, medium, and large—to accommodate different facial geometries. It utilizes a secure bayonet connection system for compatibility with a broad range of twin filters. This twin-filter design contributes to lower breathing resistance, a balanced fit, and an improved field of view.

The system supports various filter configurations, including dedicated Gas and Vapour Filters, Particulate Filters, and combination filters for protection against multiple hazards. Approved to AS/NZS 1716:2012, the facepiece is also certified to AS/NZS 1337:2010 for high-impact protection and resistance to hot solids.

Key operational features include an integrated exhalation valve to reduce breathing resistance and facilitate cleaning. The respirator is reusable, with replaceable components such as inhalation and exhalation valves, head harness, and lens assembly available for maintenance. It is intended for use in atmospheres with adequate oxygen levels and is not suitable for oxygen-deficient environments or escape purposes. Proper fit-testing and seal checks are required before use in contaminated areas.
